Latest Career Opportunities at Cambridge Montessori
The admissions process begins when we receive a completed registration form for your son or daughter. Demand for nursery places is often high in the city, therefore we accept registrations for admission to the nursery school many months in advance of the start date. We will keep you informed of the progress of your registration throughout the admissions process.
The nursery school considers itself an inclusive community of children and families where children are encouraged to foster a joy of learning and develop their skills to prepare them for future challenges. Our caring community is supported by the nursery's commitment to the rights of the child, their families and staff.
There are 6 Stages to Our Admissions Process
Stage 1. Enquiries
All admission enquiries should be made either by telephone: 07432 892676 or What’s App
or email: admissions@montessoricambridge.co.uk
If you would like to visit the nursery please complete and send an enquiry form, so that we have an understanding of your requirements before your visit. The enquiry form can be completed using a link that will be sent to you upon contacting us.
Stage 2. Arranging your Visit
Visiting the nursery prior to making a registration for a place is essential. We welcome parents and their children to visit the nursery prior to applying for a place. Tours of the nursery provide a good opportunity to meet with staff and ask questions about life at nursery. If you would like to visit the nursery please complete the enquiry form, so that we have an understanding of your requirements before your visit.
Visits are booked in advance, and take place Monday to Friday, usually between the hours of 10am to 11.30am and 2pm to 3.30pm. If you require a time outside of these hour’s please let us know.
Please contact the admissions secretary to arrange a visit: admissions@montessoricambridge.co.uk / What’s App
Stage 3. Registration
A registration is made for a single child’s place.
A registration fee of £100 is required on submission of the registration form. Forms not accompanied with the fee may result in a delay in processing the registration. Registrations made for 'funded only hours' do not require a registration fee payment.
The registration form allows the nursery to use the information contained therein to setup your child and parent information, including sessions on our nursery management invoicing app called Famly. Once setup we are then able to monitor your child’s registration, check place availability and offer places.

To help parents understand the admissions process we have produced guidance that we hope will remove any concern during the admissions process.

Stage 4. Offer of a Single Child Place
We will write to you with an offer when a place becomes available for your child.
With the offer we will send you a retainer fee invoice. The retainer is required during the time of registration to secure a place. The retainer will be returned to you after we have received 2 calendar month’s notice of your intention to leave the setting and go against your child’s final invoice before leaving. Registrations made for 'funded only hours' do not require a retainer fee payment.
We will keep you informed throughout the admissions process. Should you have any questions please contact admissions@montessoricambridge.co.uk
Stage 5. Acceptance of Place
To accept our offer of a place, please reply to our offer by writing to admissions@montessoricambridge.co.uk. A delay in responding could mean that the offer of a place is no longer available. Should this happen the registration will move to our waiting list.
The place will be held open for a period of 2 weeks from the date the offer is sent, after which time all offers of places will be withdrawn. Should this happen, the registration will pass to the waiting list. If this time limit causes any difficulty, please telephone the admissions secretary.
Stage 6. Confirmation of Place
We will write to you and confirm your child’s place at nursery once we have received your acceptance of our offer of place and retainer fee payment.
